Intermediation in domestic and international road transport is the operation by which an operator, at the order and on behalf of a principal (client, beneficiary) makes the transport possible, that is, organizes a merchandise or persons transport without being the transporter himself. In the exclusiveness of the intermediation activity, the operator may sign transport contracts on his own behalf or on behalf of the client, but always on behalf and to the benefit of the latter.
